Our Mission
God’s word encourages the church to support “the widows and orphans” in our midst.
One way that BBC lives out “being the church” is to help meet the needs of BBC-associated widows/widowers, single mothers, disabled and elderly by solving, fixing, and providing counsel on minor home repair and maintenance issues that might arise.
Our Volunteers
The Home Fix-It Team is open to all BBC members/attenders (young and older adults, teens) to work together in small teams to meet these needs. Team members should be comfortable and handy with tools, making repairs, and problem solving. Time commitment typically involves less than one half day per month (weekdays or weekends).
