About Pastor Jon
Pastor Jon grew up on the East coast, living in both Vermont and Maryland. He later attended Cedarville University in Ohio where he received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
After serving two and a half years in a Sheriff’s Office, Jon and his wife moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. In Charlotte, he pursued careers in marketing and business but also recognized that God was leading him to serve full-time in ministry. Jon received a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty University’s School of Divinity in Lynchburg. He then moved to Dallas to receive a Master in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary where God supplied a full-tuition scholarship. While in Dallas, Jon served as a small groups pastor at Fellowship Bible Church Dallas.
In February of 2013, Jon and his family moved to Brenham and he began to serve as the Lead Pastor at Brenham Bible Church.
Among the things that stir Jon’s heart is the unity of the Church and breaking down the territorialism that exists in modern Christianity. Since 2013 Jon has led efforts for local pastors to regularly gather for times of prayer. The by-product of these efforts includes stronger bonds of unity between local churches, next-generation leadership training, and numerous outreach events in Washington County.
"I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. (John 17:23 NIV)
He has been married to his wife, Michelle, since 2002 and they have four children.
